And if you’d like to learn how to do it yourself, I’m happy to show you. WordPress content editing is often easier than you might think. If you’re comfortable working with a Word document, you may already have many of the skills you need. I can guide you through the process, explain things in plain English and help you become more confident managing your own website.

You can ask me to take care of everything, learn to do it yourself, or find a balance between the two.

Whether you have a single task or a list of updates that need attention, I can help you get them done.

What’s included:

  • Editing existing content — updating text, correcting mistakes or refreshing information on your website.
  • Adding blog posts — formatting and publishing new articles or news updates.
  • Creating new pages — adding pages and arranging content to suit your website’s existing layout.
  • Adding images and galleries — uploading photographs and incorporating them into your pages.
  • Formatting and layout adjustments — making sure your content is presented clearly and consistently.
  • Troubleshooting — helping when something doesn’t work as expected while you’re editing your website.
  • One-to-one guidance — showing you how to make changes yourself, so you can become more confident using WordPress.

You provide the text, photographs and other content, and I’ll take care of putting it onto your website. If you need help with something more involved, we can discuss the requirements before starting.

You only pay for the time you need, at £40 per hour. I’ll explain if a task is likely to take longer than expected, so you can decide how you’d like to proceed.

Like to learn how to do it yourself?

You don’t need to be a WordPress expert to manage your website’s content. If you’re comfortable using a word processor, you may find that editing pages and publishing blog posts is easier than you expect.

I can show you how to make common changes, explain how your website works and help you get comfortable with the tools available. You’ll be able to handle more of the everyday updates yourself, while knowing that help is available whenever you need it.
