What’s included

  • WordPress setup — installation and configuration of WordPress, together with a suitable theme and the necessary plugins.
  • Up to 5 pages — for example, Home, About, Services, Portfolio and Contact.
  • Basic SEO setup — essential search engine settings and page titles to help search engines understand your website.
  • Privacy and cookies — installation and configuration of an appropriate cookie solution, plus a basic privacy statement for you to review and adapt to your business.
  • Image gallery — a gallery to showcase your work, projects or photographs.
  • Contact form — an easy way for visitors to get in touch.

What you’ll need to provide

You’ll provide the website hosting account, domain registration, text and photographs. Don’t worry if you’re unsure about hosting or domain registration: I can advise you on choosing a suitable provider.

We’ll discuss the content and structure of your website before the build begins, so we have a clear idea of what needs to be included.

What does basic SEO include?

Basic SEO setup includes configuring essential SEO settings and page titles, along with appropriate page headings and other fundamental on-page elements. It doesn’t include extensive keyword research, ongoing SEO work or a guarantee of search engine rankings.

Ideal for small businesses, makers and creatives who want to sell a limited range of products through their own website.

This package builds on the Small Business Website package, adding the essential functionality needed to display products and accept orders online.

What’s included

Everything in the Small Business Website package, plus:

  • Online shop setup — installation and configuration of the necessary e-commerce software.
  • Up to 5 products — initial setup of five products, including their descriptions, prices and photographs.
  • Shop page — a page where customers can browse your products.
  • Cart and checkout — the pages customers use to review their order and complete their purchase.
  • Shipping configuration — setup of agreed shipping rates and options.

What you’ll need to provide

You’ll supply your product descriptions, prices and photographs, along with details of your shipping arrangements.

You’ll also need to arrange any payment gateway account required to accept online payments. I can advise you on the available options and help configure the chosen solution.

Please note: Payment processing fees, e-commerce subscriptions and other third-party charges are separate from the website build price.
